No. We are a licensed private hire (VTC) operator registered under French Transport Code article R.3120-2, with a professional VTC card issued by the Bas-Rhin prefecture. The difference with a taxi: we do not run on a meter, we do not pick up on the street (no kerbside hailing), and every ride must be booked in advance. The benefit for you: fixed price locked at booking, premium vehicles, guaranteed availability.

Three key differences: (1) Price — a taxi runs on a meter and the final total is unknown until you arrive; we lock the fixed price at booking. (2) Booking — a taxi is taken spontaneously at a rank or by phone; our service requires an online reservation with confirmation. (3) Vehicle — taxi fleets are standard, we operate Mercedes V-Class and E-Class only. On long runs like Strasbourg → Rust (80 km) or Frankfurt → Rust (200 km), our fixed price is usually lower than the metered taxi total.

Our fixed sedan prices (one way) from the nearest airports: Baden-Baden FKB → Rust €100, Basel BSL → Rust €180, Stuttgart STR → Rust €280, Frankfurt FRA → Rust €300, Zurich ZRH → Rust €400. A metered taxi on the same routes typically lands €30 to €100 above, with no flight tracking and no guaranteed availability for late arrivals. Round-trip bookings get 15 % off the total.

Fixed sedan prices from the Alsace cities: Strasbourg → Rust €140, Colmar → Rust €150, Mulhouse → Rust €170. The Mercedes V-Class option is available on the same corridors for groups up to 7 (luggage included). Tolls, fuel and up to 45 minutes of waiting time at the pickup are included — no metered surcharges for evenings or Sundays.

At Ringsheim/Europa-Park station and Orschweier station there is no permanent taxi rank — only phone-booked taxis with variable response times. Our shuttle picks you up directly at your arriving TGV or regional train platform, without waiting, without a phone call, at a fixed price. Particularly useful for late-evening arrivals after 10 p.m., when spontaneous taxi bookings in this rural area are unreliable.

Inside Rust itself (from a hotel to the park entrance, for example) our service is not the right fit — the distances are too short for a long-distance VTC model. The Europa-Park Resort operates a free internal shuttle between its on-site hotels, the main park entrance and Rulantica. Our role: getting you in from outside (station, airport, home, off-Resort hotel) at a fixed price, and picking you up again on departure.

Yes, with live flight tracking. You enter your flight number when booking; we track your arrival through the airline API. If your flight is delayed, the pickup time adjusts automatically, with up to 45 minutes of complimentary waiting time. The driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign. Major difference vs. a spontaneous airport taxi: fixed price announced upfront and guaranteed availability, including very late at night.

Yes, subject to driver availability. The online calculator displays live availability. For bookings made less than 4 hours before departure, we recommend sending an additional WhatsApp message to our team to speed up confirmation. Best practice remains booking 24–48 hours ahead, especially on summer Saturdays and Halloween-season weekends when demand peaks.

No card details are taken at booking: you receive a binding quote by email within the minute. Payment happens on pickup, in cash or by bank transfer for business clients and long-distance packages. Unlike a metered taxi, the price shown on the quote is final — no surprise at the end of the ride. Business invoices (10 % French VAT on passenger transport) are available for B2B accounting.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, full refund. Between 48 and 2 hours: 50 % retained. Less than 2 hours or no-show: 100 % retained. In case of a documented flight or train delay, we adjust the pickup time at no extra cost, even at very short notice. Transparent policy — a metered taxi typically offers no cancellation option at all.
